You know what kind of story is always a sure-fire hit? A super politicized topic that has no clear resolution due to extreme polarization. Then bring up the two sides with incredibly weak writing for characters that aren’t widely liked in the first place. Wrap it all up with no conclusion and a weakly portrayed memorial for all those who were killed.
It’s like the Arrow writers aren’t even monkeys at typewriters. They’re Trumps at a Twitter.
